Project Description

This week, we finished installing a new driveway in Essex using block paving. There was quite a large area to cover, so we had quite a few of our paving experts handling this project. We use our very own transport, machinery and tools and always clean up as we go along.

As with every new driveway we install, we need to remove the old driveway first. We do this by using our mini digger and digging up the whole area. In some cases, there may just be an old garden path and turf, so these would be removed in the same way. The area is always levelled off, ready for the base to be laid. We use aggregate for the sub-base and then sand is laid on top of this.

We plan out exactly where the drains are going to go ensuring this new driveway will not flood when it rains.

We then prepare the block paving which is laid in the desired pattern. We used a grey coloured brick that we laid around the outside of the driveway and then placed red coloured bricks inside of these.

We completed this driveway in the time frame given and was praised by our clients for the first class service that we provide.
